Brief rebuttal, no swearing in this one. I figured that that would be a bit ridiculous to do when replying to a kid.

Since I suspect that this Video Reply might not be "accepted". Go watch their video, and be saddened.

Jesus brought me to this video. Just kidding, but seriously christians say they "go to heaven"... and then what. They wait for the rest of the earth to inevitably die out and join them? What about the billions of galaxies, some /must/ harvest life, did "jesus sacrifice himself for his sins" on those planets too?

God exists, evolution is a fact, God made a blob which would one day become every species on this planet, everybody wins.
I find it annoying how the videos where people say stuff like "Evolution doesn't exist, because the bible say's..." yada, yada never seem to allow comments, or need comment approval.
I want to rip out some people's Coccyx, wave it before their faces, and say "You don't need this, it belonged to your monkey ancestors!"

all you need is a simple mutation and you have a smooth transition from one to the other, the new bacteria can now move and have no need for a syringe so they survive and reproduce. just search for a scientific explanation on the web, especially youtube and you will find that atheists do not leave this alone. some of us just can't be bothered to repeat our answers again and again.

as logical as this argument may seem, it is a scientific fallacy. One of the analagies used by creationists is a mouse trap. take away a single part of the trap and it no longer functions.
However, the trap may not function as a trap it still makes a rather fetching tie clip. the same goes for the flagellum, take away a few proteins and you get the bacterial syringe used by the bubonic plague.

The flagellum "motor" ifs the poster child of ireducible complecity. the main idea behind this being that some systems in some organisms are too complex to have evolved through natural means, and that even if you take away one protein that makes up an ireducible complex mechanism then it will not work, therefore there is no way a smooth transition could be made by evolution from a simple flagellum to a complex one.
