@Static172 i thought so hard about this i hurt myself :D lol, But i know that the rocket engine propels the rocket super fast, faster then the jet, now that's assuming the rocket motor starts a millisecond after it releases lol, but Ive seen rockets that wait a while, when that happens you'll see the rocket fall and go slow, until the engines fire, that's because as soon as that rocket fell from the jet. it lost most of its inertia, of forward momentum that it got from the jet :)
My asumption is in the moment of the realese of the rocket, the rocket has the velocity of the jet fighter itself plus the engine of the rocket. idk :)

@Static172 dont know exactly but i do know, rockets are faster even if the planes going supersonic...i think lol
