Russian orphans, upon graduating from orphanages, receive their ID card stamped with the word "Orphan." The Wilkins adopted two older children from Russia, giving them a new start, an opportunity to thrive and a chance to lose the stigma of being an orphan in Russia.
For more information on adopting an older waiting child or to view our current waiting children from Russia and other countries, please complete the screening form at

My husband and I adopted 3 American children from Child Protective Services. We care about what happen with the children here in the United States. There are orphans all around the world.
