@JBMontgomery87 you could apply it like that, if you wanted to completely ignore the meaning of the statement. theres hundreds of games with goblins and orcs, there are not hundreds of games where you wield a lightsaber and the force. there are not hundreds of games where you run around jumpin off walls, slicing people in half back in time as a legendary assassin doin crazy freeruns. goblins arent timeless, they are just old.

Besides which, you can apply your entirely negative analysis to literally anything. Knights of the Old Republic? Milking a "space and shit" cash cow from the 1970s! Assassin's Creed? Yeah, because the Crusades aren't centuries out of date, never mind Templar conspiracies. Etc.
