  • @76troya *cough* They actually used viking / Norse runes. Which isn't the "father" of our alphabet at all... It is the T and the F from the Norse Futhark. Though the letters CAN have various meanings depending on the situation, when all comes to all, it is a T and an F. Simple as that. And it isn't from any turmenistan caves or anything. It hails from Scandinavia.

  • @HimmelsscheibeNebra Actually, they used the Norse runes for T and F for the cover, no abbrevation or simple equivalence. It is the proper runes ^^

  • Including this is a masterpiece :D

These are the T and F runes from the old norse alphabet

  • @HimmelsscheibeNebra

These are the T and F runes...

  • @76troya

I believe that Equilibrium simply used an abbreviation of t and f for Turis Fratyr to give an ancient germanic impression which looks nice on the cover. I cannot see any other reason. It is a simple equivalence to comparable latin letters. I must be honest, this is the best cover of Equilibrium. The second is poorer and the new one is horrible! Good that on the other hand the music got better! But the new cover is really a pain in my eyes...

  • @veglcube
