@harrikelm I didn't say a word about the United States' fight against communism. I don't know where did you see that in my comments...

The looting of Russia is a tragic period in the country's modern history which (as I know) continues even today. Nevertheless, I wouldn't want to digress and start that pervasive "Russia vs US" kind of discussion which is pointless to the bone.

you are wrong. the US never fought against communism, they fought for their place as a superpower.

something, what they do against russia today too. you dont understand the full sonsequences. 10 years of hell in the own country. the destruction of yugoslavia, hundreds of dead people (today too) every year which died through drugs (exported from afghanistan by the US). russia could be destroyed. its a wonder, why it didnt happen.

@harrikelm My original comment clearly says: "for redeeming my country from communists". I fully understand the consequences of the political and economical collapse which ensued. Also, I did not, in any form, disclose my appreciation and/or admiration of the current regime. The main idea was to emphasize the simple fact that Russian Federation is not the same political entity as the Soviet Union and quell those who were saying that RF is a socialist country. This is it.
