I like playing piano

http://twitter.com/Elisoncrz

Bee Gees are kind of cool, definitely, definitely DEFINITELY a vocal pack though. Guitar was pretty meh except for You Should Be Dancing in which that was the WORST song in the pack on guitar... It was incredible on bass though, I'll give you that. Drums looked pretty unfun throughout the pack for the most part.

the two singles are both amazing songs from the 60's (imo of course), not so much to play, but just amazing considering the technology of the day and how it's endured the years, I really enjoyed them, even though they were both really easy and one of them even had you play piano on guitar.

Also, uploads are going kind of iffy still, I had to install chrome on my computer and since I began uploading I've had to restart twice so hopefully I won't fall asleep. The advanced uploader should be fixed soon though, seeing as how the problem has been acknowledged and I guess they're supposedly working on it.

The purpose of these videos are to show the charts of all the songs in all their wondrous glory in ways that cannot be done online. To explain, you can't play online with guitar, bass, and keyboard at the same time, you can only do a combination of the two, and to bypass this, you have to be in all instruments mode which can only be done offline.

Also, this gives a chance to show the vocal charts and harmonies which is nice sometimes for vocalists to see how certain parts were charted and whatnot. Plus, in my more recent videos there are pro drums and pro keys which is pretty cool to watch, even if you don't play either of the instruments.

The audio is taken straight from the game by going into practice mode and highlighting the "full song" option (which will let the full song play without crowd noises, overdrive, missing sounds, etc) and I overlap that audio with the game audio (which I hope you'll notice that since I'm only playing guitar and vocals that that's the ONLY thing I hear while playing, thus making certain songs more difficult to play) so that the finished product is basically a preview video of the expert charts of all the instruments (now including pro drums keys).

The videos do take quite a bit longer to make and render but for the audio-visual quality it presents itself with, I think it's well worth the time and effort spent making to having things be a bit more convenient as far as "preview videos" go.

Anyway, I know a lot of you have been bitching and moaning about these kinds of videos and that many of you are even unsubscribing! Well guess what, there isn't really anything I can do about it in terms of having more people playing, there's nobody else in my current locality that can do this sort of thing at 2 in the morning and at least I'm making some sort of effort to show you guys everything, it costs me an upwards of six hours of sleep deprivation to make sure that the videos go smoothly, everything uploads, all the titles and things are correctly labeled and so on. Nobody's forcing you to watch these anyway so quit your whining and just watch the videos please. =)

Like I've said in the past, if this video helps just ONE person make an informed decision regarding a dlc purchase then I'll have done my job.

Enjoy!

  • You guys are so thankless. How about 'Thank you HMX for an awesome song!" not "WTF THEY CHARTED PIANO TO GUITAR WHY CAN'T THEY DO ANYTHING RIGHT?!"

I really don't see why people object anyway... I'd rather play a non-guitar part than sit out.

  • PIANO ON GUITAR?

  • @gurdoman It is indeed a different studio take.

What is REALLY interesting, tough, is that this particular take was never released before!

It sounds very close to the "stereo versions" released many years ago but it has some noticeable differences.

  • I can't believe it, people would rather not play than GOD FORBID PLAY A NON GUITAR INSTRUMENT.

BTW: Personally its my favorite pro keys chart.

  • OMG yes!

  • @Icarus19911991 FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU i fail. it's the other way around and you are right. fuck i just realized that after sending it.

  • @Icarus19911991 the piano part is correct. its a hammond organ thats in the guitar part

  • If you don't like playing piano on guitar and would rather not have a guitar chart at all, THEN DON'T. FUCKING. PLAY IT.

  • It's bothering me that the keys for this song are not the ones from the one i have on my ipod, and i don't know if it's just me, or this really is another version :(

  • This song is so much fun to play on pro keys!

  • @Zmann1218

    I can't upvote you enough.
