Once more, March 2009 has found me on my way to London, following the footprints of dear Jeremy. Clapham Commons is indeed one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, and I can fully understand why he had chosen to live there.

In order for you to be able to share a bit of those impressions, here's my latest video, which I hope you will enjoy...

The Small Print:

While I do in fact own the rights to most of the pics, the music ("Sunchyme"/DarioG) is not mine. Also, in order to maintain the privacy of passers-by, I have tried to NOT show them in a recognisable way except those cases where I had a consent. Anyway, if you happen to recognise yourself in here and feel your personal rights breached, please contact me via my channel in order to rectify this. (Mind, you will have to prove that it's you depicted here, so spammers: no chance!)

This video is for promotional and strictly non commercial purposes only, and I intend no copyright infringement whatsoever.

To enhance the possibilties to enjoy more of the unique Jeremy Brett, please stop by and sign the petition for release of his work at

Thanks

  • I don't see his house btw, I love that house! It has got lilac trees in the backyard, which reminded me so much of the Freddie song "On the street where you live"! I've just been there once, I had a little JB remembrance picnic in the park and then went to see a great play at Wynham's Theatre!

  • Great vid, I was there myself in April! I wonder what dear JB would have thought if he knew that visiting his beloved Clapham Common has become some sort of pilgrimage for his fans :)

  • Thanks for sharing :)

    I want that J.B. t-shirt!

  • *sighs* I hope that I'll make it there one day. It looks so beautiful. Looks like you had a really nice time there, as always, huh? ;)

  • 'The Adventure to Clapham Common'. Oh, this is so lovely! And I love your J.B. t-shirts!

  • Gosh, I miss London a lot ... and I wasn't in Clapham for a considerable amount of time. Thanks a lot for this. =)

From when on did Brett live there? He said that he used to look out of his window to spot Peter Cushing, who had a house nearby where he lived, because he admired him so much. But that would rather be Campden than Clapham ...

  • Thank you for this wonderful little journey!

  • *starts to feel tears welling up but doesn't know why!* Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking us with you. Those that can't due to money! When we want to go so badly (me for example) :-/. I love it so much! *gives you a tight hug* (Don't feel bad about your French, you know more then me, mon amie! hahaha)
