  • You comment reeks of xenophobia. Most immigrants flee the problems that developed nations like the US create in their countries. Institutional polluters like oil refineries etc... should be the one who are taxed and penalized for the pollution that they generating. The US and other developed nations set an example for other nations and create stringent environmental policy and enforce existing laws to protect people's health and the environment.

  • Gore talks about "environmental racism" but the act of allowing Third-World immigration to the developed country, as they escape problems THEIR CULTURES GENERATED THEMSELVES, causes them to consume much more than they normally would have, increasing the carbon footprint. If Gore were consistent, he'd be pushing for immigration cuts or massive carbon taxes on every immigrant to cover the real costs of excess carbon over the immigrant's lifetime.
