Look it up on Google and you'll understand why Anti-virus software do not detect rootkits.

Problem with downloading and installing 'hacked' versions is that, more often than not, you get a nice viral payload along with it.

I for one, am more than willing to put food on your table as I purchased Winstep Extreme a few months back. I just downloaded the update with the Windows 7 like features last night. Great Job!
