Roopak of the famous Vadodara ni Sabha (Gathering in Baroda) that took place in 1820 under the rein of Sayajirao II Gaekwad as per the Satsangi Jeevan compiled by Shatanand Swami. Lord Swaminarayan sent Muktanand Swami, one of his senior saints along with 250 other asetics to Baroda to quell the beliefs that the Swaminarayan Sampraday was not vedic. In a philosophical debate arranged by the King at Baroda's Vithalnathji Mandir, Muktanand Swami took on 5 very learned scholars (Ram Chandra Vaid, Hari Chandra Vaid, Shobharam Shastri, Narupanth Nana, Chinman Rao) from Baroda, then known as Chota Kashi because of the number of great scholars it had produced to emerge victorious. It was then proved that the Swaminarayan Sampraday was based on vedic teachings and Lord Swaminarayan was accepted as the Almighty Lord Supreme Himself. The chairman of the Sabha, Bhau Purani, a very learned scholar himself, used the famous words "Swaminarayano Vijaytetram" to announce Muktanand Swami's victory, which literally means Victory to Lord Swaminarayan.
This is a short roopak in English with Gujarati Kirtans by the Yuvak Mandal of Swaminarayan Temple, Oldham (Under Nar Narayan Dev of Swaminarayan Sampraday). Part 10 of 10.
