  • you do realize that he is trying to account for the Japanese who are learning English, ne? Its to help them learn the sounds in part. Its easier for someone who needs to learn the listening aspect of a language to take steps in a sense, like listening to someone who speaks clearly before listening to the average person, because that also might teach them the wrong way of saying something, or at least they wouldnt know the /real/ way.
