I totally understand how rich fucks that prey on the rest of us want to vote Republican. But I will never, ever understand why so many, from middle-class down, keep voting to be raped by these pricks. Mine went up 12 percent and I NEVER missed or paid late!! That's the B.S. that was allowed when Congress pushed this crap through.

Mr. Hensarling was trying to get across to to Dumbass Dobbs the fact that Congressional Democrats had a backdoor ready and open for the BankCard companies to "Pay Dem's Back" He READ it!

Do you know what regualtions does. If we allow for more regualation, soon, nothing will be allowed unless the government says it's ok. I'm a middle classer. I pay my bills on time, If my credit card co gets regulated, i'm gonna switch my card to one that isn't. I personally want as little government involvement as possible. But if you are that incompitent and need to get bailed out whenever someone raises ur rates you've got more problems than you think. Geeze America, learn some responsibility.

I agree that people are depending on credit cards too much, and I have been victim of that as well. But the bottom line is that if you have good credit then you should get better rates, and if your credit sucks because you are a crappy consumer, then make better decisions. But that is not the way of the USA anymore. Why don't you just hand over everything to the govt to monitor since you can't be trusted to do so on your own. We need some protections but not govt control.
