On Tuesday, September 20, 2011, a panel discussion geared toward Duke postdocs and graduate students discussed the faculty recruitment process for science and engineering positions from the search committee's perspective. Topics included what the search committee looks for in application documents (CV, cover letter, research/teaching statements), the screening process, and selecting candidates to interview.
