Coffin on rollerskates.

Me, doing a skating move referred to as the "coffin" by most people. This is not the greatest video of me doing it, but I was a bit tired when I did this one cuz I did it a million times before deciding to record it, plus the music wasnt great for it, and I didnt have a real great camera operator. Eventually, I'll make a better video of me doing this and post it here.

I'm a "thick" white gal, too (although you're fit and thin compared to me!)- and just got back into skating after being out of it for ten years (browsing Youtube to feed my rediscovered addiction). Thank you very much for inspiring me to try the old tricks I kicked ass at when I was young and skinny...I'm gonna try 'em out next week at the rink!

@alaskanpariah Glad to be inspiring to you...I WISH I was "fit & thin"...lol...I havent been skating as much as I used to lately but I went last week as my birthday present to myself and oh man!! I was feeling the burn in my legs from not having gone very much over the last year or so :( I just went back to school ft and am a single mother of 4 so theres just not enough time or money for me to be able to skate as much as I want right now. Skating is definitely the best exercise for me though!!

@AngelsOnWheels How ironic- know a gal who is a single mom of 3 girls, and is an active roller derby player. I felt the burn in my legs last night for sure after a couple hours of skating, but felt fantastic today and can't wait to go back! Happy birthday, by the way. :-) I know what you mean about it being the best exercise: music, roller skates, and an audience- what else could a girl ask for?! If I get brave enough, maybe I'll post video of myself skating within next week. Peace!

@alaskanpariah Cool. I thought about trying out for the roller derby here but I just dont have anough time to commit to it. I just started school ft. Maybe in a few years :)

interesting, this is actually called the huntsman's crouch. a coffin is VERY similar but you shoulder must touch the ground

@patmandy2009 "Shoot the duck" is when you squat as low as possible, put all your weight on one foot, and extend the other leg straight out in front of you, sometimes stretching your arms out to hold that foot, but it does not involve crossing your legs in any way.
