I hate to interrupt the pages and pages of commentary, but I have to pose the question... Does it really fucking matter what their name means in Latin? Or who has the more reliable answers to pull from? Be it seven not so glorious years of studying a language that only doctors and priests seem to have a use for, or looking up Latin meanings on wiki whatever; Either way this is the stupidist list of commentary bullshit I have ever read to kill time waiting to get off of work.
-
@Supermassively You have been disregarding every point I have brought up by mentioning your supposed time studying latin. However I do admit I may not have been completely correct because there seems to be many interpretations for the word 'Insomnium', but thats not the point I was trying to get through to you. I do think we should bring this argument to an end, because it's going nowhere.
-
@Supermassively It's between a random, nameless moron on WikiAnswers or a random, nameless moron on Youtube. Let me remind you that we're all anonymous over the internet. And the time you studied latin seems to have changed from four to ten years between your comments; this may lead me to believe you are bullshitting. And again with the hypocrisy, while you seem to believe that I'm the one being stubborn, take a look at yourself.
-
@LeadForBreakfast HAHA! You'd trust some random, nameless morons who have never studied the language, over someone who has studied the language for seven years including three at an advanced collegiate level. And you even cite WikiAnswers! HAHA! Second only to YahooAnswers in terms of being notorious for having absolutely moronic answers freely editable by any uneducated moron who has no idea what he's talking about.
You're just being stubborn and can't admit that you were wrong.
-
@Supermassively Well I'd trust what I find on the internet over someone claiming to have studied latin.

@LeadForBreakfast I've done my fair share of research, seeing as how I actually studied a great deal Latin at a collegiate level after four years of it in high school. Since I have the facts, I'd say I'm damn good at challenging your moronic, uninformed posts.
I don't give a rat's ass if it has anything to do with the sleep disorder. Latin roots are consistent, logical, and unchanging, and nowhere in Latin does "in+somnus" mean "nightmare".
Why don't you just grow a pair and say "I was wrong"?

Thanks for the upload, but i can't seem to find this song.. I have all their other songs. :S
