@thone2008 they had to change the story. christianity was originally a movement against tyranny, not a religion. its a symbollic writing. jesus cured the blind=helped people see the truth,raising the dead=bringing out of depression, seven headed dragon=roman empire(seven hills of rome) etc. he explained to the people that they were in a machine, the same way pink floyd thinks we are in a machine, which makes us machines (dead/depressed), but the truth sets you free.

I'd recommend watching a Yale professor lecture on the historicity of Jesus. Type in "Historical Jesus, Yale" and you'll find the video lecture on here. Every modern historical scholar accepts that Jesus existed. That's all I have to say about that. If you still disagree, go argue with Dr. Bart Ehrman or Dr. Dale B. Martin in the Yale lecture.
