It's a good idea to use a needle when pulling up the jump rings that comes up from the middle. I had a hard time finding out how to do this, but once I got it it was very easy. The tutorial should be done with HUGE rings making it easier to see the way it's done, because it is indeed not hard at all. Good luck people :)

(I made my own jump rings from a 1,2 mm thick wire with an inside diameter of 4,2mm)

I'm confused...I got my first 'v' to work...and then the second part that you said was tricky...I did just as you demonstrated...but mine did not look the same at all! Does diameter make a difference?
