Belleville Diocesan Schola, Richard W. Thompson - organist and choirmaster, singing Stephen R. Fraser's "Rejoice the Lord Is King". This challenging piece won the AGO/ECS Publishing Award in 2008. This performance took place at St. Peter's Cathedral in Belleville, IL. The recording is fairly good, despite the under-maintenanced Moeller organ at the Cathedral.

  • Organ needs tuning, no?

  • @4902STEVEN Well...yes...but I'm thinking more along the lines of "The organ needs renovation"!

  • @stepheneros1990 We are trying to work on that.....some arm-twisting needs to happen. First of all: FIX the pedal boards so that all notes sound. There is only one celeste. We need a gamba-celeste. Oh what the hell....the whole console needs to be re-worked. Gawd the upperwork sounds terrible.
