Me performing "Windy" and "Korobeiniki" on the Roland V-Accordion at the Elk's Club.

"Windy" (Conker's Bad Fur Day) - I've already uploaded this song on an acoustic accordion, but now you can hear what it sounds like utilizing the FR-7's potential. It was also a little awkward trying to explain to elderly people what this "happy-sounding polka" was really from.

"Korobeiniki" (from Tetris) - More people would probably recognize this as the "Type A" song from the GameBoy version of Tetris. Although I didn't see it, my mom told me that several people in the audience were pretending to play GameBoys as I played this song.

  • Was that a balalaika sound in the last forty seconds or so? How many different sounds can you get on that accordion?

  • It was a Mandolin.

There are 14 Accordion shifts, but there are 33 sets (ie, French, Traditional, Italian) so it's really more like 462.

As for other instruments, there are 22.

You can also hook it up to a MIDI system for more sounds.

  • Wow. Conker's bad fur day and tetris. Cool.

  • @FromTheGang sorry for replying to a 3 year old comment, but you can copy and paste the link of your youtube video and paste it onto mediaconverter(dot)org and change the file type to mp3, convert the video then download it, you get the mp3, and you could post it onto a file sharing site like mediafire its as easy as i make it out to be :)

  • @cornmon It's actually a Russian folk song :D

    -anonymous accordionist

  • is it just me...or does Korobeiniki sound like some jewish folk dance....ive always thought that..

  • @FromTheGang Download Audacity, plug your accordion into the line-in port on your computer (not sure if Audacity does MIDI), and record away. Or use an MIDI to MP3 converter program if that's your style.

  • i respect you for bringing a piece of conkers bad fur day into a room full of old people...........for some reason. For real though this song is the shit and you nailed it

  • @FromTheGang You start a account for MediaFire. It's free and you can upload songs and then copy the urls on the downloads and paste them anywhere you want. :)

  • I love this video so much. Your talent is badass, man.

  • @superincredibleguy its called using your ears to figure it out, and write the notes down if you must
