Today (2/26/08) is the Birthday of Betty Hutton! I have put together a slideshow in celebration and in honor of Betty. She passed away last March and is greatly missed - but I know her star is burning brightly and her legend will live on! I want to send a special thanks to my friend and Hutton fan, Lloyd, who gave me the inspiration to put together this tribute! Enjoy!

This woman has touched my life deeply. I can relate to many of her struggles. I so admire and love her talent and personality, for many years now. I wish I could have met her when she was alive. I miss her and dearly hope she is resting in peace with the Lord in Heaven. I love you Betty!!!

Thank you for posting this video celebrating Bettys Birthday. Over the past few years i have collected many of her Movies and Recordings and i am very impressed by her achievements which are staggering by any standard. although saddened by some of the tragedies in her life I find great inspiration in the manner in which she overcame her many problems. Indeed a Bright Star in Heaven.

Indeed a bright star in heaven! She gives me the get-up-and-go that I need on some days - quite an inspiration and a dear, dear woman - I miss her. I will keep her light shining, and so will the small circle of my friends who knew her.
