@yorvik21 Oi - "miner's strike In England"? some of the bravest and most stubborn strikers were the South Wales miners. The scottish miners also put up a brave fight - yet it was the Durham miners who led to the collapse of the strike.

Brilliant. Reminds me of the miners strike in England in 1984...8 months we fought, 8 months we starved...(we were on strike for 12 months..well, yorks were anyway). Great ballard, and me ma likes Christy too...Ballaghdeereen , Roscommon. C'mon you Mahon's.
