Nick & Sam Making Strides

Nick was raised in a household plagued by drug addiction, and spent his early years in foster care. Yet despite these hardships, he considers himself blessed. He discovered a warm and nurturing family willing to take both he and his sister in. And though money was scarce, he avoided the poor choices to which many young men in his situation succumb, and in 2010 he graduated from Colby College with a degree in economics.

Upon graduating in 2010, Sam worked as a financial planner in Massachusetts. While he enjoyed his work, he sensed that his career was not satisfying his desire to help others in a more organic, meaningful way.

In early 2011, Sam left his job to form Making Strides with Nick, "Rediscovering The Dream"
