Stop that twistin in here by Bill Doggett 1962, recorded from the Columbia LP titled OOPS!, and played on a Dual Turntable with Ortofon 030 cartridge through a McIntosh tube type stereo receiver

  • What type stylus do you have on that tone arm? Sounds great, but I must admit, I generally listened to this type music on an RCA Victor 45 (the big hole records) record player. These fancy, delicate with light weight tone arm turntables for me were reserved for my Classical music when I played my Columbia Masterworks and RCA Red Seal records!

  • @RICHARDDAVISMCLEOD The cartridge is an Ortofon 30 tracking at 1.5 grams, and the cartridge for playing the 78 records is a Shure N-78, which tracks at 2 grams. I have thought about ordering a 78 stylus for the Ortofon,
