@hmbam1 ...don't wait til next gen, do what I do: buy the drop-in KN FILTER(33-2399 @ $70), some a PULSTAR pulse plugs(ef1i @ $15p/), & a Hennessey SCT tuner($800) & there's your 400hp! Hennessey also makes a full intake plumbing kit for that tune, good for 60hp($2000)

@hatebreed79 The V8 was detuned from the factory by about 65 horsepower and 70 ft. lbs. of torque and still outran the V6's stock vs. stock by half a second in the quarter. And if you don't like the current offering, don't buy it or look at the videos offered on YouTube of it. Simple procedure to keep no nothings quiet.

1st gen sho's were awsome! v8 was a dud. return to v6 is much better, but 4400 lbs? i know its all wheel drive but this is still not an enthusiast car. this is a car for 50 year olds that want a 4 door with some omph. road and track observed 17 mpg. you can get that mpg with a real v8, chrysler makes those and they dont use a decade old volvo station wagon chassis. resurecting a nameplate for the sake of sales ruins it for all

or just buy a real car like a vette...

@streetstangs I thought that was old school that it was at the flywheel. Didn't realize they still did it that way. Always thought they did it at the wheel these days. Good info to know.

alright dude, thanks

@hmbam1 yah there is gonna be some great vids of people blowing up aluminum blocks.

HUD is over rated. I have had one for years.......no real value.
so, by tuning the car you get the performance that ford states you should get? lol might as well just turbocharge the regular engine properly.

@lmcneice FYI manufactures quote flywheel horsepower not to the tire. Hope this helps you.
