Since 2005, Glasgow Prestwick Airport, previously best known as the place where Elvis Presley briefly touched down on 3rd March 1960 (the only place in the UK ever to be visited by "The King") is said to be the favourite refuelling destination for the CIA, the American intelligence agency, often after clandestine anti-terrorist missions in the Middle East. Prestwick has handled US military flights since before World War II. It has two long runways which can take large, heavily laden aircraft, plus fuel and storage facilities. In this video, Marines relax during a refuelling pause and mix in the waiting lounge with regular passengers who probably ignore what's going on behind the airport walls.
