  • looks like it has more stuff than regular ketchup sold on stores... i knw they add onion powder vinegar etc... but this looks better and zestier... duno if ill ever make it to much work and have a big ketchup store buaght bottle but its always good to know how to make it. :)

  • @True2TheBlueYoViGang Yeah, always nice to know. Most of the ingredients here are in manufactured ketchup. Quite tasty as I find it better than the store bought. No preservatives either :) cheers, KtC

  • Do you have a recipe for Relish???

  • @montrealstars60 I do. I have it on th elist but not sure if I will do it or not. It keeps getting bumped for other recipes I have. Will see. I have been asked a couple of times now. cheers, KtC

  • @kooktocook I understand... I was interested because being a Canadian living in Italy, impossible to find.

  • @montrealstars60 Nice place to live (and visit). I have a recipe here from my Grandma's cooking notes. I will send via the YT email. KtC

  • @kooktocook

ur vidz rock i made potatoe chips in the microwave and they came out so delish :D

  • @breakingthisdown I think the effort is worth it if used for those 'special' times such as a family BBQ or party. A treat so to speak. I use ketchup in variable sauces more than I use it as a condiment. Yes, many recipes have a few ingredients and I am guilty of posting a few. I could state 'add Joe's seasoning mix blend' but that doesn't help folks where 'Joe's seasoning' isn't available. Thus I do use many variable seasonings (that do count as ingredients I suppose). thanks and cheers! KtC

  • Seems like you need a heck of a lot of stuff to make it for it to only last 3 weeks, but bringing up the lack of preservatives in it... Pretty tempted. I love me some ketchup but admittedly don't eat many things that require it. Must be a lot healthier. Hafta say, though, that I HATE recipes that are complicated and require 50 billion things. A complete turn-off. But perhaps I will mix n' match yours with an easier one, provided I find one. LOL

  • @woody1337lol I agree. Even more sadly is the N.A. version have even more sugar. I can tolerate some ketchups sold but I have given up on the mustards over here. I only buy (or make) whole grain Euro varieties now. I love Dutch mustard. A company here started taking the salt out of their soup. The soups are starting to taste normal again.

    cheers! KtC
