  • Yeah, imagine that. Folks like KillHomers were those I was describing in my blog entry "My Antiwar Moment."

  • Let me get this straight:

You think that paleocrat hates God because paleocrat thinks that mass murder is wrong.

    Wow.

  • Our godly troops? You speak as if they are a monolithic force. As one who was in the military and is part of a military family, I can say with little reserve that our Armed Forces have become moral cesspools.

And why is decrying an unjust war "hating" America?

I have an inkling that I may be taking you too serious, but you're an odd one who's hard to figure.

  • What in the blue hell is wrong with our Godly troops blowing moon-whorshipping mudslimes to hell? Why do you hate America and God?

  • I just watched a video of Martin Bell on the Iraq war. Bell is a British reporter of the utmost integrity.

He says that the anti-Iraq war movement is not confined to lefties. Some of the best criticism he's heard has been from acting soldiers.

A fairly senior British officer in Iraq said to him "Now I know what it must have felt like to be a Wehrmacht officer in France in WW2.

  • Too many people see all Muslims are terrorists and think their lives are not worth anything like as much as an American life. One group of people this probably doesn't apply to are the troops in Iraq.

  • good video. excellent.

  • paleo, somewhere in your next post could you utter the word 'wisconsin'? I wanna hear that.

  • paleo, i agree with a lot of what you and alee

say here, but isn't our support of Israel a part of what makes us a target of these terrorists. We have had that much longer than we have been over in their countries. That said, I don't necessarily believe what we are doing there will reduce terrorism, but I'm only saying, they do hate us for things other than our meddling.

  • Absolutely. People like Ron Paul were warning this country of a blowback like 9-11 for years! Nobody took him serious. Ah, they aren't pissed that we are over there. No, they just read the Bill of Rights and got worked up into a foaming frenzy.

As hard as it is to accept, actions have consequences... this is especially true for foreign policy.
