@nay51756 could not be more right man iv only seen them twice cause i live in NC and its not big down here but they did come to concord motor speedway the countrys fastest half mile tri oval and they were running small blocks vs big blocks they were topping at 176 mph on the back chute it was AMAZING
If you've never seen these you don't know what you're missing.Fastest short track racing going. My cousin Craig races and owns these over powered light weight rockets. He runs both classes the supermods with and without wings.See them once and you will be hooked. They will keep you on the edge of your seat.Lots of big block power burning methanol with no trans. to seal power.Faster than a sprint car.Racings best kept secret.
@bluezhound .......I have seen racing from F1 to stocks to all short tracks dirt and pavement............and let me tell you .........when the ISMA and/or MSA supermods and the AVSS sprints run in the summer at the Toledo World's fastest short track event.................DON"T MISS IT................!!!!!!
@505197 the world of outlaws are coming to charlotte dirt drack next weekend for the world finals the sprints late models and the big block modifieds i watched the east west shootout at concord speedway in nc these cars will run circles around a sprint car concord speedway is a half mile tri oval down the back shoot they were topping out at 176mph on a half mile track thats moving son
@bluezhound It's like sprint cars, some shows run wings and others don't. Wings require more motor to drag them through the air, so a lot of places have gone wingless in an attempt to keep costs down. I have been going to a lot of sprint show this summer, when the outlaws came to Tri-state last weekend they were packin a lot more power then I'd been seeing. Some locals I'd been watching and seemed fast were turtles running with the Outlaws, These cars are unreal fast, catch a modified show.
Very nice . just one question . why do they have wings and then no wings ? i Love Winged Sprint cars on dirt but these guys look pretty cool to go see sometime . i live in Ohio so Toledo is not out of range .

Don't understand why supers aren't at least as popular as the World of Junk sprint racing is..........they are the best kept secret in racing.....
If a race car is suppose to look like something you don't see everyday, well then these babies fit the bill........
