My humble submission for Councillors Connected, a short video about Being Human.
My central contention is that online engagement is about being yourself online and, therefore, learning to use new tools rather than changing your behaviour.
Other things you might want to consider:
Which social medium is right for you?
How active - or inactive - are you going to be?
Is it worth having a private or public policy on your social media use?
Should you separate your council and personal online identities?
I'll be discussing this in the Councillors Connected forum (http://www.communities.idea.gov.uk/c/1232132/home.do) or am happy to answer any questions via email (cllr@jamescousins.com) or Twitter (http://twitter.com/jamescousins)
Any evidence to back that accusation? In the 11 years I've been a councillor I've never claimed a single penny in expenses. And that is typical of most councillors. Not sure how you can be on the take or the fiddle if you don't actually take anything.
Thanks for the comment, but perhaps you should check facts before making assertions like that.
