I am temporarily living in Buffalo after losing my job in Brooklyn and it has been great to rediscover Buffalo. I used to compare Buffalo to Chicago (where I lived for 5 years) and Brooklyn (2 years) and I wished that Buffalo would be more like those places. But I realized that it will never be like those cities, because Buffalo is a unique city with other things to offer that larger cities cant. Any municipality with a zip code that begins with 12, 13, or 14 needs to split from the rest of the state. Then maybe, just maybe, the city will be like a Phoenix rising from the ashes.
