Review - Nvidia 3D Vision Glasses

I'm not too good at talking to a camera, but I figured someone out there might want some more info on this before they buy it, so here you go.

how will it work on 460gtx? would it be better with 2 460´s?

@MmhGanja Not sure, but it works great on the GTS 250.

I'd go with 2 460's if I were you though. Eventually you might be able to upgrade to 3D surround.

@MsRobbster I never played WoW before I bought this. I downloaded it to test it and I have to say, it's pretty sweet. The first day I played for like 10 hours strait and forgot I was playing in 3D. That's the bad thing, you get used to it after a while and it doesn't seem as cool at it did when you first wore them.

After I stopped playing the real world looks so much realer than it did before. My depth perception felt different too. I felt like I just came down from acid or something. lol.

lol, I will never play games in 2D again.

also, go into the Stereoscopic 3D settings, in the Nvidia control panel, and then click "Set Keyboard Shortcuts" then check the box that says "Enable advanced in game settings" then when in game, increase the convergence using the hotkey

you'll NEVER get really good depth unless you do this, then load of a game that looks REALLY good in 3D, such as Bad Company 2.

THEN you will think it was worth it. :-)

@1981z28camaro I tried it out, what's it suppose to do exactly? It made the right eye image go over to the left and the left eye image go to the right. It makes me go crossed eyed. Should it be going the other way? Because I have one game that is messed up and renders the eyes backwards maybe this one is doing something similar.

I don't mind some ghosting. It was the red and blue that I hate. I want 3d with all the colours still on screen. ect. red turns to purple, blue turns to black with red and blue glasses.

@DeadManM69 I think there's a program you can download that can convert videos to 3D, but it wont be very good unless the movie's suppose to be 3D

I just ordered a new monitor and the 3d kit. I hope I like it better than you did.

I am actually rather excited. If it works pretty good for me, I can't wait to play my old games in 3d. I have been waiting for an excuse to play star wars knights of the old republic again. :)
