Alvin and I heading down from the top of Mission Peak in Fremont, CA. We came from the Peak Trail (Ohlone College Parking Lot). This is from the very top at 2,517 Ft. ASL. It was super windy during the 1st rocky sections, pushing my bike to the left a little. I dont think we picked the best lines, but it was our 1st crack at it.

Song is "Missing Pieces" by Voxtrot

Taken with a GoPro Helmet Cam
Please watch in 720p or 1080i to fully appreciate the landscape.

  • I'm heading there tomorrow for sure! Thanks for the vid! Here in San Ramon... meeting... but free tomorrow and I brought my bike hoping I'd find something fun and quick to do... if it's an hour up and back... that'll work for me :)

  • @wsmac7 Hey man! Im not really to sure about hikers only. Ive seen a ton of folks ride down, not from the very top, but from the fire road along the eastside of the main Mission Peak trail. Youd usually bike that fireroad up and then descend the main. rocky trail down. Or hike it up to the top and ride down from there. Hope you brought your rain coat out today!

  • LOL! We rode it up 60% of the time. The last rocky leg was simply dragging the bike up to the top.

  • Pretty cool video! I live in the greater city area, and I never get to see such wonderful views. I really appreciate you guys recording these adventures, at sometimes I had to remember that I was at my computer and not on the trail with you. also the song rocks! and so does the mtha fccnn 1080p!!!!

  • @alexandher2 Thanks bud! :)

  • nice ride...how long did it take you to get from Peak trail to the top??? can u shuttle from the top to bottom???

  • @autoexperts650 Worth it! Its short ride, and a good hike/climb. Mission Peak is pretty nice up top anyways, so youll also get the workout and scenery. If you do go, instead of going up the main rocky section close to the peak, take the fire road to the left of the main trail, right before it gets steep and rocky. That will take you up close to the peak without having to wade you and your bike up the last leg.

Also, check out my Hayward Plunge Video. there are ways to shuttle for that one.

  • You can make it to the top by getting to the y right before the last last rocky climb and then biking all the way around the back. There's a trail back there that climbs all the way to the peak.

Or just go a free hundred feet past the y and there's a steep climb that will take you to the last garbage can right near the top.

  • @MrAndrewsAdventures Hi! I'm planning to go there this weekend. I just look at the map, how did you get to the peak, the one at 2,517 ft? Is it ok just to ride up there? I thought it was for hikers only. Thanks!

  • looks like a fun ride dude!

  • Very good cardio workout on that ride. Grade averages about 12% with several section well over 20%

  • mate how did you actually manage climbing up to the peak with your bikes..

    its pretty hard!

  • This video does no justice for how steep the peak section is
