Modded RAT

A Rat pedal that I modded.

This Rat has been totally tricked out. All of the classic Rat sounds can be had along with a whole host of other great sounds.

This Rat has the LM308N chip.

Left toggle switch: Right is the original Rat silicon setting. Middle is Clean boost and Left is LED Clipping.

Middle toggle switch: Right is normal Rat, left is the "Ruetz" mode. The Ruetz mode changes the RAt sound to a low gain, flatter EQ overdrive sound.

Right toggle switch: When switched to the left a slight mid boost is added to the Rat.

The switch on the bottom of the pedal is a feedback loop. When engaged the pedal with oscillate and feedback in a crazy way. The pitch of the feedback can be altered with the controls on your guitar or the knob to the left of the switch on the pedal.

Yes, the Ruetz mod, middle toggle switch, changes the Rat to more of an overdrive pedal than a distortion pedal. In this mode the Rat is more responsive to changes of the volume control.
