The dad and son relationship portrayal in this commercial was quite dysfunctional. The dad could only shake his sons hand instead of hugging him with unconditional love that his son had returned home proud and alive from serving our country.

Great commercial, but don't you mean a U.S. Marine; yes, there's a difference. A soldier is in the army, a marine is in the marine corps, a sailor is in the navy, an airmen is in the air force and a coast guard sailor is in the coast guard.
