Our state has 9 Indian reservations with plenty of local, state, and federal problems. I am saying beliefs in a special 7th generation isn't going to solve anything. When there is not enough employment, or any kind of real change needed for a future. Go to a reservation and ask questions, or simply try to help in anyway you can.

@spareaxe you missed his entire message because of your own thoughts of his people's west described prescribed weakness with alcohol. If the whole of your nation was slaughtered, removed, isolated and restricted to specific sections of an earth you freely roamed, how would alcohol affect YOU? What about what he's saying about the planet's ruination?

I think half of their battle is fighting against alcoholism which destroys life, and it doesn't go away. This so called 7th generation isn't going to solve anything if alcohol is taken more seriously than life.

I think I watched some of this on the history channel the other day. Not 100% cause i was making dinner at the time. But I like this stuff because these people care so much about the earth and we all need to get back to that. We are so dependent on our toys (tv,computers,etc) And we waist so much and pollute so much. How are we going to look our children in the eye when we have left them such a mess to clean up.

Since the founding of the U.S. Constitution, the eighth generation is just now coming of age. I guess we've had our God given 7 generations of prosperity and freedom (except for the Civil War).

The man looks an awful lot like my grandfather. He even has a similar voice and laugh. I need to visit grandpa one more time before the end.
