Kubu - the most magical place ... in the world!

Our 'bucket list' trip to Kubu Island, Botswana in July 2010. The place is indescribably beautiful in its starkness. Thought to be an outpost of the Zimbabwean empire, it dates back to the stone age and arrow head fragments can still be found there today. The Top Gear team encountered this location in their Botswana Special - good enough reason to prove we could do the trip (albeit from the North) in a reasonably priced vehicle (Hyundai Tucson CRDi). Edited this using Apple's iMovie™ and composed the soundtrack on Garageband™ to keep it legal (originally I set this to Men at Work's "Land Down Under"). Apple™ is the best computer system ... in the world!
