This is not quite the version we turned in for the Inland Empire 48 Hour Film Project.
The reason I am uploading this version is that I don't have time to get to the computer that has that version on it and I wanted to give everyone involved a chance to see something!
The differences between this version and the one turned in are there isn't any color correction done on this version and the audio (while not perfect when we turned in the other version either) was better in the "final" version.
I'll get that version up as soon as I can and there will be a couple of other versions coming too, including the "Director's Cut" and the "Editor's Cut" and the "Producer's Cut".
There is also a Behind-The-Scenes documentary coming soon.
What is a 48 Hour Film Project?
Teams compete to make a complete film in 48 hours. Friday night at 7 PM you are given a line of dialogue, a character name and an object that must appear in your movie. You also select from a hat, a random genre (out of 14).
The Elements for this particular project were:
Character: Tim or Tilda Tanner, Forensic Investigator
Prop: a decorative pin
Line of Dialogue: "Tell me what's on your mind."
The genre we pulled: "Musical or Western", we went with western.
All creative aspects from writing to shooting to producing the DVD must be done within the 48 hours and turned in.
