Short Film - "When I Dream"

A short film I made with my two friends Vinny and Emma. We only had one day to film it and we shot it in around 5 hours. I hope you enjoy =)

Narration:
James, I regret that I had to write this letter. If you are reading this it means its already too late. Do not look for me, because I have already gone somewhere you cannot follow. It is said music is a bridge between earth and heaven. So I am leaving this life, using our song as my guide to the next. My decision is my own and the last thing I want is to burden you. Do not sympathize for me, the only pain I felt was writing this letter to the one I love more than anything else in this world. I dreamed of being together forever, just you and me. You would make the morning coffee, and I would make the breakfast. But the harsh realities of life woke me up from that dream and brought me back to this nightmare of a world. They say you dont always get what you want, but I thought I was an exception because I was lucky enough to be with you, even if it was only for a little while. To be your friend was all I ever wanted, to be your lover was all I ever dreamed. You gave me both those things, and I will forever be in your debt for that. But not everyone can live with a happily ever after. When I entered our relationship I was somebody, but when you left me I was left as nobody. Every passing day without you feels as if there is less and less air to breathe, and today, the air just ran out. The times I spent with you were the best of my life. When I would feel the pain of being alone with a broken heart I used to think of us and how we used to be. They say you dont die from a broken heart, but I wish I did. Even though your love for me died, our dream will live on. Im going to a place where our love will remain untarnished by the effects of time. Forever and always, Sophie.
