@eldm55 I agree that intake is just sucking up hot engine air. You should of spent the extra money and purchased one with a shield so it sucks up cold dense air from the front of the engine/fender. Good luck. Especially like he said with revving it up so soon and shutting the motor down so soon.

theres no heat shield on the intake ur engine is chocking on engine heat,instead of cold dense outside air that intake this is worse than stock, check out banks power ram air

damn reving the truck as soon as it starts and turning it off before the rpms come back down be nice if that truck sees 80k miles before dieing. but the intake sounds sweet. how much do they usually run?
