Bonfire night 2010.
Just after mid-night, the remnants of Waterloo bonfire society marching up Lewes High Street to their prayers.
The impressive Gurkha marching band are utterly un-flinched as fire, smoke and explosions surround them. That's got to be worth a pension!
Closely followed by a seemingly unending string of very loud Chinese crackers disappearing into the smoke surrounding the Lewes War Memorial.
Thanks for a great night Lewes

  • Brilliant day and night as ever . Even though the police tracked down the ANNIE MILLER'S from Glasgow, they know we are there to soak up the atmosphere. We love Lewes..... we love the CLIFFE. God Bless till next year. Love you all!
