In the world of off-road RC vehicles, 1/5-scale buggies and trucks are the definitive kings of the hill. Drivers all around the world have been clamoring for the folks at Losi to develop a car or truck to play in this large-scale arena—and it's finally here. After much rumor and speculation, Losi has announced their entry into giant-scale off-road with the Losi® 5IVE-T™ off-road truck. Based on the wildly successful 8IGHT™ 2.0 1/8-scale buggy, the 5IVE-T takes the platform in a bigger direction than previously imagined.
Those familiar with the legacy and history of Losi will recognize Gary Kyes as one of the best drivers the US has ever produced. Gary has seen and done it all and has loaned his vision and experience to the 5IVE-T development. We were able to sit down with Gary to learn about everything that has gone into the design and development of the 5IVE-T. A truck this massive deserves a massive preview and we're here to provide the most comprehensive look inside this big rig you'll find anywhere. From chassis and suspension details to a look into the materials used, killer running footage and more, we have all the dirt on the 5IVE-T. Due to the overall length and detail, we are providing you with two different ways to view the preview video. The first is the traditional way for you to be able to watch the preview in its complete form. The second version will allow you to skip around to specific sections of the video, discussing various sections of the truck. We hope you enjoy our exclusive inside look at this monster from Losi—the 5IVE-T!
