@mrtruthfinder1975 As to jealousy, His jealousy is aimed at those who would give their love wrongly toward an idol and face eternal living without Him. His jealousy is because we will be lost, and is unselfish in content. Our jealousy is always selfish in content, wanting someone for ourselves to fill our own desires without regard for what is best for them. The sin jealousy and the God jealousy are in entirely different contexts in the original text.

@mrtruthfinder1975 Not of this church, but you certainly haven't found the truth yet. Christ says he's the way the truth and the life. Answered every other religion with that statement. you can believe the truth or not. God told us not to kill (murder), that vengeance is his. and if you would read the Bible you are select quoting all the way through, you would discover no one dies, we all come back, to eternal living with Him or without Him.

@mrtruthfinder1975 I'm also very sorry to hear, that 30 years wasn't enough to see how GOD is good in all things. You maybe can not understand it and God don't except us to understand things.

Also to understand what God is saying; Stop seeing things physically on what God did, start seeing them spiritually, than I believe God can and will show you great mysteries in the Old testament, Let him open your eyes!

@mrtruthfinder1975 Sorry to say, if someone is blind, than it is you. God teach us a powerful lesson in the Old Testament. Before you judge God as a evil, than check out what he was really saying and doing. For you to see that, you have to study hebrew and know that some words can mean also something else. When you connect that new word (that you found in the hebrew) to your life or your sutuations, than you can first truly see what God said in the old testament. My God is LOVE, and He is GREAT!

@chrissmissaert ....Im sorry. let me explain who i am. I am an ordained minister and was a christian for 30 years. I am not a rookie or ignorant to the religion. I know all the things you will say because i have said them. That being said, i have a better view on the whole issue since i have been on both sides. And dont ask the stupid and nonsense question...."why are you mad at god?' . I am an educated person who figured out that the cult of christianity is man made!!!!!

@mrtruthfinder1975 If you truly want to see the truth you have to be able to see on your own not clouded by preconcieved notions about who God is. If you really want to see the truth Ask God and he will show you.

@chrissmissaert you see you are wrong. The bible never rationalizes a reason for jealousy to be ok. This is a human (christian) concept. The 10 commandments says do not kill. It doesnt say "do not kill, except under these instances". But the god of the bible commands the killing of innocent people. That is a contradictional statement/action the god of the bible makes....the god of the bible is evil and we all as humans are better without it. open your eyes and mind. stop being so blind

@mrtruthfinder1975 The God of the Bible is very jealous for His creation. His jealousy is manifest in His protection for us. If we are not being protected by Him, we are being destroyed by the devil. There is nothing wrong with being jealous if you have the right motive. God's motives are always pure. doug
