@clfry the only 650 i could ride whoops quickly was my xr650r. the dr650's suspension would just not keep up, unless i stuck some KTM front end on it and an ohlins back

those are the smoothest single tracks i've seen. here they are all whooped and chopped out, 650s get all out of shape quickly.

This ranch is privately owned, so it doesn't see a lot of traffic, plus the owner maintains it. It's also pretty hard ground, so they don't form quickly. The other places we ride are extremely whooped, like Sam Houston Nat Forest (Probably my favorite trails, see my other, older vids), which is soft loam and sand with a lot of traffic and races. I actually like whoops though, even on the 650's, although it definitely a different technique than the smaller bikes.
