I have 8 track tapes of Freddy Hart and many others that I play in my garage using a tape deck from a 68 Chrysler. Hey they still sound good and they still work

You probably recorded "The Lorne Gibson Trio's " British cover version.

I was the bass player on it and did the bass voice at the end.

This is definitely in a pop vein,but keep in mind that this was when Freddie Hart was a struggling songwriter.Of course,songwriters have it much better in this day and age,but they literally had to go door-to-door and sell themselves in 1962.
