Andre Rieu & 3 year old violinist, Akim Camara 2005

Andre Rieu introduces 3yr old violinist, Akim Camara, during his 'Flying Dutchman Concert' at Parkstad Stadium in the Nederlands (2005). Akim (born 27 October 2001 in Berlin-Marzahn) plays Concerto G Major op.11 with the Johan Strauss Orchestra.

Look up Akim & Andre at America when he's barely 5 years old and you won't believe the difference & how much more professional he has become. It can be so easy to become critical about others that one feels the need to write it- Akim is truly amazing and he deserves the credit for such a talented young star. He's already achieved more than most will in their entire lives :-)

@oscarjimva Actually, no, after this show they immediately protected the child knowing the world would fall over him. André knew he needed to be a child first. And he doesn't play the violin that good because he's just THREE at the timeand playing a child's violin. Most kids are still in diapers. Notice how he knows the WHOLE part by heart? Bad? I bet you were still shitting your diapers at his age. Btw, search for how he's playing now, seven years later.

He is cute for he is a kid. but let´s be honest. he does not play the violin at all. it is sad that they make him believe he plays the violin. He probably will, eventually. they are just utilising this kid for the show. I am sorry, sounds bad. it is ok to do this at home but not in a concert. SORRY!

Boring. He doesn't even sound good, sounds more like screaming. Throw him off the stage and invite him when he is 20 or so. This is crap.
