Mta, New york city transit bus route cuts, service cuts is going to drastically affect, isolate neighborhoods. One of them is the B31 which serves Gerritson beach. It is suppose to loose overnight bus service with the draconian service cuts.. It is going to mean that neighborhood is 1.5 miles away from the next active bus route the B3. 1 hours walking distance. The B3 is the connecting bus which leads to the subway connections Q F N trains. If the Bx 34 is eliminated alltogether. Woodlawn on the northern border has no transit service what so ever within walking distance. This bus route connects with the last stop of the number 4 train. One rider said what do we do take a taxi. We bairly can afford this. In Staten Island, the Oakwood beach area will be a mile away from transit service if the cuts go through. 22 local routes eliminated. 5 express routes. 35,000 more car trips will occur everyday. New York City will have pollution on the levels of Los Angelas, Tokyo Japan. In the 1st and 2nd related video I will have the numbers of all politicians that could help us to get a MTA bailout plan passed. We need to tell them pass, and agree on a bailout or we simply going to vote them out of office.
