Welcome to the Slaughterhouse - Hunger Games

In the Hunger Games, two children from each of the 12 districts of Panem are forced into an arena to fight to the death in a glorified punishment for a past rebellion against the Capitol.
Katniss Everdeen volunteers herself as the District 12 tribute when her 12 year old sister is picked to go into the arena, and is pitted against Petta Mellark, the boy she owes her life to.

I have become addicted to this series.

I really must read the Hunger Games trilogy but right now, I'm still hooked on LotR I'm afraid :) but this was lovely and the song fit perfectly and I want to become addicted to this fandom too. <3
