oh just wait till you see tom daley

@bigal69ist well you clearly have no idea of what you're talking about , I only invite you to check
Louganis and Dibiasi's olympic records from platform ( I repeat , from platform ) to realize who's the best
in this specialty.
Anyway Louganis has been that legendary champ both from platfrom and springboard, obviously he was more complete than Dibiasi, that's why there's the current opinion on Greg to be the best of all times .

@Trulyloyale What? He's not even close to the greatest diver on springboard. Ya hes definitely a legend and one of the best.. def of his time but we got people like he chong now. A lot of people would easily beat him. People on 3m are doing 109s 307bs 407bs 207s 5156bs and good might I add. It's not even close, but yes for his day no one could touch him.

Ehm , excuse me markmation , don't you think that maybe you should specify in which diving competition Greg Louganis is the greatest diver ever ?
I mean, in springboard Greg is the greatest ever but in platform no way, since K. Dibiasi was much greater than him ( check the one time they both competed in platform program , Montreal Olymp. 1976 ) and is by far far the greatest ever .

Haha I know this guy I met him at Jo nationals

Who was the only one throwing a reverse 3 1/2 then? Sorry Tchuiko I have to respectfuly disagree. There have been amazing divers like Bruce Kimbol, Lyle Draves, Pat McCormick, so many awsome people. Even Cinthia Potter had her record broken by Greg as most National Championships.

Reverse 1 1/2 with 3 1/2 twists.... Beauty, eh???

I wish I knew - It was a piece of music I purchased the rights to use, but it was from an online producer who releases packages of songs...and that was about 9 years ago!!!

Greg Louganis.... man, I was 9 when he did the 88 Olympics, and I think I fell in love with watching diving then, because of him. It was like the poster said--poetry in motion.

In 1982, I started diving and got to actually dive in a meet with Greg - you don't ever "dive against him" - He was AMAZING and I studied his tapes in order to better myself. In 1984 - He was AMAZING - and in 1988, he was een better...AND he is a really GREAT MAN, considering the challenges he has had to overcome.
