this is awesome. I've been trying to get my dog to jump through the hoop, usually because I feel like a weirdo hooping in my backyard when my hot neighbor comes home from work. So I quickly transition from 'hooping' to 'doggie training.' Nala (my dog) still hasn't learned it, and I'm pretty sure the hot neighbor thinks I'm nuts.
LOVE your instructional videos! As for your dog - he'll actually get better at this if you teach him to jump while looking where he will be landing, rather than up at your hand. (You can do that by tossing a toy or treat out for him as he goes through.) Now check out Canine Freestyle (such as "canine freestyle attila" here on YouTube) to see how you can combine hoop dance and dog training!
why would you feel like a weirdo because you're hooping?

I like the second dog (Raven, was it?) saying "Look! I can walk through the hoop... Aren't *I* special, too?"

This is THE cutest video I've ever seen! Griffyndor is so cute! And then at the end your other dog walking through the hoop is priceless.
